Similarly, you can be best at what you do. Again, you don't need to be perfect in managing your money. Just know some basic rules of saving and managing your money.
Whether it's a job or if you are working for yourself, you can be best at what you do and increase your income.
Best vs Worst
Another day, I was on a mini vacation with my friends and we went out to have food in a restaurant. Once we were seated and started going through menu, decided what we would like to have, there was no one around. Almost after 15 minutes we were addressed by one of the waiters. We realized that the table we sat on will be addressed by another waiter. Another 10 minutes and we all were starving. This is when people are not best at their work and don't give a shit. We decided to leave from there. When asked, I had to say my friend is sick and have to leave. This is called not being best at work. The waiters didn't understand their job responsibilities and they were not good in their work. May be they were not trained properly but that was a poor service.Another story. Next day we decided to go to another nearby restaurant. The hospitality of this restaurant was completely opposite from the previous one. The guy who attended us went through the entire menu items, explained us the origin of each item and suggested what would be best for us to have. We were so amazed. He was the man. We just told him you get anything, we don't care about what is it and we trust you on anything you would want us to have. The way he addressed us, sitting besides us and explaining the food items was simply amazing. He gave the shit and cared about his customers. That's when we say someone is good at his or her work. They care about what they do and are best at it.
Someone Should Be Experienced To Be Best Is A Myth
Experience isn't everything. I have seen many new comers doing a great job at work compared to the experienced ones. Though they have more knowledge but that doesn't mean that a new comer will be always "less best" than the experienced one."Talent solves critical problems. Hard Work beats Talent."
If you are consistent in doing what you are supposed to do, you can beat talent and experience. We get experience after working hard and smart. But we also have to be consistent in order to be best at what we do.
If you are experienced but not consistent, then you will be probably replaced by someone who is less experienced but more consistent. Consistency is the key to be the best at what you do. That makes the person experienced as well.
You Don't Like Your Job And Boss
Many times it happens that people complain about their job and boss. They just care about their job security to pay their bills."In order to be good at something, you need to love doing it."
If you don't stop whining about your job and your boss, things will not improve. You need to stop whining and start thinking about how you can change the situation. Sometimes it's not the job that you hate but the process that you follow.
May be you are not good at managing your time effectively to complete your daily tasks. When you go home after work, read about how you can manage your time effectively and get the work done.
Show your boss how effective you could be and ask your boss if you can work from home for a day to see if you can be more effective. If your request is granted, may be you'll discover that you can be more effective in working from home. This will encourage you to do your work and love your job. Your boss will grant your requests to work from home since they see your potential of working from home is amazing. This way you would love your job while you are away from your boss and office distractions.
So sometimes it's about the changes in the way we work that would help us in loving our job. Whatever the way is, if you are best at your work, you are irreplaceable.
Find your way and be the best at what you do.
